Faculty Opening

New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology seeks applicants for a tenure track faculty position in Chemical Engineering at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Area of research is open. In addition to strong research potential, we are interested in candidates who can contribute to the development of an innovative undergraduate Chemical Engineering curriculum. Job Requirements:

A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or closely related field is required. It is required that the candidate have a BS in Chemical Engineering. Preference will be given to those candidates who have:

1. demonstrable effectiveness in teaching.

2. relevant industrial experience, especially in chemical production or plant

operations.

3. the potential to develop strong campus and national research

collaborations
