TITLE POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, NASA HYDROLOGY DEPT E & ES
TEMPORARY þ FULL TIME þ
STARTING RATE or SALARY RANGE Negotiable
JOB DUTIES: Perform research on modeling of distributed watershed process and special and scaling analysis of precipitation and hydrological fields. Report and article writing. Support on proposal preparation. Support on computer/cluster maintenance. Support of student advising. Meeting and conferences with travel.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: PhD required in Earth Science, Hydrology or a closely related field. Experience using hydrologic models of distributed watershed processes required. Experience using hydrologic models of special and scaling analysis of precipitation and hydrological fields required. Experience with high performance computing desired. Prior knowledge of TR105 model desired. Defensive driving permit and van safety certification obtained after hiring required.
