POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
TITLE BUS DRIVER DEPT R & ED / ILEA
REGULAR þ FULL TIME þ
Position located in Roswell, New Mexico.
STARTING RATE or SALARY RANGE $11.96
JOB DUTIES:
Bus, truck, car, and auto driver for ILEA program in Roswell, NM. Drive bus, van, truck or auto according to what is assigned that day and current schedule. Assists passengers with baggage and loads or unloads trailer with luggage. Performs pre-trip inspections on vehicles. Keeps a log book. Paperwork, especially travel vouchers to be submitted for all trips. Cleans and does minor servicing of vehicles. Performs other duties when not driving, such as custodial and building maintenance tasks. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition and math required. Class A CDL with bus endorsement required. Class B with passenger endorsement required. Security clearance desired. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen. Janitorial knowledge required. Building/grounds maintenance experience required. Knowledge of New Mexico roadways preferred. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, oral and written, with faculty, staff, students, and general public.
