CDL - Commercial Driver's License Training
Course This
program was developed to train individuals in the fundamentals of
driving tractor trailers. It will provide those with the
background, insight, and practice that is necessary to operate
skillfully in the transportation industry.
 This
program is open to employees of all public agencies, companies and
private individuals that wish to obtain a commercial drivers
license (CDL). The class size is limited to ensure that the
student receives the best educational experience possible. The
student will have the traditional classroom experience that will
prepare them for the written test required by the New Mexico
Department of Motor Vehicles. We also provide several acres for
the student to have hands on road experience.

Objectives:
After completing the
CDL course, the student will be able to meet the requirements to
obtain a Commercial Drivers License from the state of New Mexico.

Schedule:
Schedules are prepared
on a quarterly basis, one month in advance.
Course
Information:
The class is five weeks
in length and taught by in-house instructors at New Mexico
Tech’s Technical Training Center in Socorro. It is 160 hours of
instruction, and costs $3,770.00. (Includes DOT physical and exam)
